Training During Covid-19

A Note From Lim’s Taekwondo:

2020 was one of the most challenging years in recent memory. We want to express our gratitude to all of our students and parents for bearing with us throughout such a challenging year filled with sickness, uncertainty, and so much sadness. Our hearts go out to everyone who was negatively affected by this terrible disease; and we offer our most heartfelt prayers to those who lost loved ones. We must never forget about the love and lessons that our departed ones taught us and we must hold and cherish their memories dearly.

For those who are here, we must also continue to practice the tenets of Taekwondo, and apply them to our everyday life, especially during these times. Remember that all practitioners of Taekwodno must be courteous to others and always act with integrity, perseverance, self-control, and display an indomitable spirit. Working together we can hopefully continue to fight Covid-19 and reduce the impact that it has on our community.

Despite such a hard year, we have had some good news and many happy events to be thankful for. First and foremost, we want to welcome all of those new students to our Taekwondo family. We are so happy that despite the challenges of 2020 and 2021 that you were able to find us and join our programs. For all of the students that have stayed with us, we kindly thank you for your patronage and we are very happy to have you all be members of our family and community. Our dojang has been a great place to grow friendships and provide each other with community support and we are very proud of all our students.

We are very excited to begin offering more in person opportunities to train and we will also be continuing testing and other celebrations as more of our students get fully vaccinated. Please stay tuned as the website will be updated more frequently and we’ll have more Taekwondo related resources be made available online.

Sending you all a warm virtual hug,

Grandmaster Chris Lim
